The immeasurable worth of Matt’s friendship lay testament to his character. No matter the situation, I would always know that, with him, that situation would be memorable. He could light up a room with his personality and could make friends with anyone. He had a talent for being a friend and this was proven time and time again by the fact that we could go great lengths of time without talking, but we’d always pick up like we saw each other yesterday. In 20 plus years of friendship, I could spend days telling stories about Matt. Instead, I’ll save those stories for the times to come, as they inspire thanks to God for giving me the honor of being his friend.
